Ms. Hilda Jane Garris

Unite with us in prayer as we reflect on the life of Ms. Hilda Jane Garris, 72, of New York, formerly of Vanceboro, NC, departed this earthly life on Thursday, August 4, 2022.

She was born August 19, 1949, to the late Reverend Leo Garris and Beular Mae Brown Garris. 

The service celebrating her life and legacy will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, September 17, 2022, from sanctuary of the Chapman Chapel Original Free Will Baptist Church. 

Burial will follow in the Chapman Chapel Church Cemetery. 

Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service.
