Mrs.Emma Teresa (Davis) Whitfield

Unite with us in prayer as we reflect on the life of Mrs. Emma Whitfield, 62, of 112 Coleman Lane, LaGrange, transitioned from labor to reward on Sunday, January 15, 2023, at ECU Health Center, Greenville

Emma was born October 17, 1960, in Duplin County, to the late Emma Jean Davis Carter and Willie “JC” Carter.

She is survived by her husband William “BoJack” Whitfield, two children, Tomeka Davis and William Whitfield III, four sisters, Gloria Mumford, Edna Cromartie, Laura Spruill, Elizabeth Carter, Eight brothers, Arthur Davis, Lennon Davis, Thurman Jones, Herman Jones, Jimmy Carter, Willie Carter, Lennon Carter, Joseph Carter, and three grandchildren. 

The Service celebrating her life and legacy will be held 11:00 AM Friday, January 20, 2023, from the Sanctuary of the St. Luke Free Will Baptist Church, 306 W King St. LaGrange

Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery.

Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service.

Arrangements are by Trinity Funeral Service of Kinston.
