Mr. Jawara Opio (DjSavior) Holmes, 51, was born in Lenoir County on January 29, 1973, to Mr. Milton
Green and Cassandra Rhoe.

Jawara leaves to cherish his loving memories, wife, Sheri Holmes of the home; 7 beautiful Children, Jaleel Fields(Kinsey) of Fredericksburg Va, Jarion Jones of Kinston, Na-Aisha Garner of Kinston, Jocqui Gillette of Jacksonville NC, Camile Garner, Aiyah Holmes, and Deidra Holmes all of Kinston, NC; seven grandchildren, Essie, Remy, Raiden, Chyenne, Zion, Zyire and Logan; mother, Cassandra Rhoe (Donald) of Kinston, NC; fathers, Milton Green (Dorcas) and Clifton Griffin (Denise) both of Kinston ,NC; mother-in-law, Belinda Edwards  of Kinston, NC; father-n-Law Amos Jones (Roxann) of Lancaster CA; grandmothers, Percie Downing and Grace Edwards both of Kinston, NC; 14 siblings, Todd Griffin, Clifton Griffin Jr. (Shamika) all of Kinston, NC, Felisha Stancil (Jarvon) of Dayton, OH, Kimberly Parks (Michael), Kelvin Edwards, Quiana Bridgeforth, Shauntea Bridgeforth, Alex Bridgeforth, William Bridgeforth, Reginald Bridgeforth, Christopher Bridgeforth all of Kinston, NC, Candina Bynum (Jaimie) of Japan, Charles Jones (Yvonne) and Ceron Jones of Los-Angeles, CA; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
