He was born January 26, 1981, to the parentage of Sampson Gray Coward and the late Lena Mae Koonce Briggs.

FREDERICK leaves to cherish his precious memories his wife, Teshia Koonce of Kinston, NC; father, Sampson Coward of Rosedale, Md; stepsons, Devon Johnson and James Roach III all of Kinston, NC; stepdaughter, Jamesha Roach of Kinston, NC; four sisters, Yvonne Koonce, Veronica Dixon, Melvon Dixon, and Doris Dixon all of Kinston, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews' aunts' uncles' other relatives and friends.
