Unite with us in prayer as we reflect on the life of Devonelle Leon Brimage, 36, of Pollocksville, NC, who departed this life on April 2, 2026.in Plymouth, North Carolina 

Devonelle was born to Ms. Flossy Parker and the late Mr. Franklin Brimage Sr. He was reared in a Christian home and was preceded in death by his grandparents, aunts, and uncles

He leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Flossy Parker (Bryon Swinson) of New Bern, NC; his sons, Devonelle Brimage, Jr., Kemonee Brimage, Zymere Brimage, Amir Burney, Jahzel Carbon, and Dyvere Brimage; and one daughter, Aidyn Michelle Coplon. He is also survived by Frandreia Thompson of Jacksonville, NC; Nashaunda Jennett (Omar), Nakesha Brimage, Franlena Brimage, Nyeisha Battle, and Ri’yon Swinson, all of New Bern, NC; and Elbony Parker and Ashley Brimage of Greenville, NC. Cornell Parker of Stafford, VA; Franklin Brimage, Jr. of San Antonio, TX; Danta Brimage of New Bern, NC; and Calvin Brimage (Tarmra) of Greensboro, NC. aunts: Helen Hill and Mary Brimage of Trenton, NC; Lessie Hill of Pollocksville, NC; and Yvonne Washington of Stafford, VA; and his uncles: Kevin “Buster” Hill and Tonza Mundine of New Bern, NC; and James Parker, Adam Parker, and Michael Parker of Stafford, VA; the love of his life, Ms. Michelle Jackson of Plymouth, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 18, 2026, in the sanctuary of Historic Oakey Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 3233 Ten Mile Fork Road, Pollocksville, NC.

Burial will follow in the family cemetery. 

A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
